Comments: My dad is Joe Hill. I love looking at the old pics of him in his different cars on your site. Racing meant so much to him! It's great that you keep the history alive via your website! Thanks so much! I will miss him terribly and am certain I will visit your website more often.
Comments: I got to your sight because I googled my Papa's name, Clifford "Tuffy" Rose and followed the link to a picture you had up of him. Yesterday was the 13th Anniversary of his passing and finding a picture of him I never seen before brought tears to my eyes. I wish there were more of him, but thank you for having that picture up!!
Comments: In the late 60's & early 70's my brothers and I lived for race night. Known as "Dick Burr's kids" or "Dick's pit crew" gave me free pass in to the pits a privilege I used and relished as a kid. You just did not gain entry in the pits unless you were driver crew or held a Pit Pass. Occasionally Bob Decker would bring his kids when he raced, I remember those nights as the best nights ever. Wally Baker aka "Crazywheels Baker" Ernie Purcell and the names I no longer remember 40 years later... Thank you for the best memories of my childhood.

Comments: When I was a young boy my dad charlie crook ran in the jalopys at west capital, Roseville, and Auburn. He ran from 1953 to 1963 and drove car number 12 most of the time. I still remember most all the names of the drivers. These were good times. Thank you for the site and the memories. Dad past in 84 .But my boys and I are still racing.
